Jim and Marilyn Shadid of Durango celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, after they were married July 21, 1967, in Wichita, Kansas.
The couple has lived in the Durango and Bayfield area for 15 years. They have three children and three grandchildren, are active members of Seniors Outdoors! and enjoy camping, boating, hiking, skiing and biking.
