Durangoans Heidi Chowen and her husband, Daniel, are known for their wedding photography, which critics consider among the best in the industry.
So when NBC’s “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie planned to marry fiance Mike Feldman in a secret ceremony in Tucson, Ariz., the photo duo was called into action.
The Chowens kept their secret until Guthrie announced her marriage, along with her pregnancy, on national television. She showed several wedding photographs when she made her announcement.
It didn’t end there: People magazine also picked up the story, and the Chowens’ work received extra mileage in the popular magazine.
