Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering will host the fifth annual Barn Dance and Picnic at the Park youth programs fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Rotary Park.
This year’s fundraiser will feature live music from the Tim Sullivan Band, with intermission entertainment provided by local youth performers.
Bring you own picnic, or buy Angus burgers and brats and sides from the VFW for $5. Wine, beer, soda and Cream Bean Berry ice cream will also be available for purchase.
In case of rain, the event will be moved inside the VFW. Plan to bring your own chairs and blankets. No pets are allowed. Tickets are $15 for adults/teens. Admission is free for children younger than 12. Tickets are available at the door or online at www.durangocowboygathering.org/Dance_Fundraiser.php.
