Rotary Club of Durango Daybreak will present the Carol McGuire Vocational Excellence Award at 6:45 a.m. May 14 at its weekly meeting at La Plata County Fairgrounds Extension Building, 2500 Main Ave. The meeting is open to the public and free of charge.
This is an annual award presented by Durango Daybreak to a local organization/individual that encourages and fosters the ideal of service in their personal, business and community life. The club aims to recognize someone who may not always be in the spotlight, but whose work and character truly resonate with the heart of our community.
