The Durango Dharma Center will host a talk about compassion on Thursday, Aug. 23.
Rebecca Bradshaw, guiding teacher at the Insight Meditation Center of Pioneer Valley and Insight Meditation Society in Massachusetts, will give a talk, “Four Faces of Compassion: Mary, Tara, Kwan Yin and Tinkerbell,” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Durango Dharma Center, 1800 East Third Ave., Suite 109.
Bradshaw will speak about how a connection with these archetypes can promote an understanding of compassion on a physical, emotional and cellular level.
