The Durango Dharma Center will offer a Conscious Parenting Class from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, June 26 to July 31, at the center, 1800 East Third Ave.
The class will include mindfulness, information from new brain studies and child-centered practices that create less effort and more intimacy with children. Open to anyone who is raising children or works with children.
Cost for the class is on a sliding scale of $50, $70 or $90. Scholarships are available. Resister online at www.durangodharmacenter.org.
