The Durango Elks Lodge is accepting donations to help residents of Port Aransas, Texas, a small island north of Corpus Christi, who have been affected by Hurricane Harvey.
Residents can drop off donations until 2 p.m. Saturday at the Elks Lodge, 901 East Second Ave.
Suggested donations include bottled water, bug spray, nonperishable food, face masks, hand towels, bleach, baby wipes, solar shower bags, disposable gloves, trash bags, tarps, clothing, diapers and batteries.
Donations will be driven to the island next week by Amber Glasslock, who is from Port Aransas.
