Durango Elks is accepting applications for scholarships for the Class of 2025 graduates.
- First scholarship: Colorado Grand has sponsored a $10,000 scholarship that will be awarded to one student. Must be a 2025 graduate and a La Plata County resident going to a Colorado or Utah college, university or trade school in fall 2025. Applications are due March 17.
- Second scholarship: Durango Elks Lodge #507 scholarship for $1,000. Six are available. La Plata or Archuleta county residents are eligible, must be 2025 graduate, and can attend any accredited U.S. college, university or trade school in fall 2025. Applications are due April 1.
- Third scholarship: Fred Zimmerman Memorial Scholarship for $1,000 to one student for trade, vocational or technical school. Must be a 2025 graduate and attending school in fall 2025. Applications are due April 1.
There is no cost to apply.
