The eighth annual Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering Outdoor Concert and Barn Dance featuring the Tim Sullivan Band will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the River Bend Ranch, 27846 U.S. Highway 550. A fundraiser for the annual Cowboy Poetry Gathering and its youth programs, there will be a silent auction featuring artwork and items from local businesses. You can bring your own picnic, or food and drinks from Cuevas Tacos Food Truck, Lone Spur Cafe and Cream Bean Berry Ice Cream will also be available for purchase. Tables and chairs will be located inside and out, but you might want to consider bringing your own lawn chairs/blanket. No pets allowed.
