Highlight of the Week

Bring your hunger for competition to the La Plata County Fairgrounds this weekend. The dinner bell for the Cattlemen’s Chuck Wagon Cook-off will be at 5 p.m. Saturday.

This year is the cook-off’s 19th, and there will be meat, potatoes, beans, fresh bread, dessert and drinks. Tickets cost $20 and are available at Basin Coop.
