As part of History Live Durango, Thomas Heuser, music director of the San Juan Symphony, will present “The Vocabulary of Gesture,” an exploration of the specific physical motions that allow conductors to communicate musical details without verbal cues.
The discussion, presented by Pine River Arts at the Powerhouse, will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at Powerhouse Science Center, 1333 Camino del Rio.
