The Durango Fall Blaze would like to thank those who attended the Aug. 14 Community Concerts in the Secret Garden at the Rochester. La La Bones delivered some diverse and original bluegrass music on a hot summer day to a wonderful crowd of Durango community and Fort Lewis College supporters.
The Durango Fall Blaze is one of 10 Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado grant recipients for the summer concert series. Fall Blaze will use the Community Foundation grant funds to support FLC cycling scholarships for women and men.
We would like to thank the sponsors who helped to make this concert series possible including Tito’s Handmade Vodka, The Rochester Hotel and Four Corners Community Bank.
This year’s Fall Blaze will kick off Sept. 28 with a cannon blast and a police escort. All three ride options (37, 60 and 100 miles) are open to cyclists of all levels, and the ride is followed by a free party on the FLC campus.
