The Durango Farmers Market started back up for its 25th season Saturday morning, and a sizable crowd showed up to buy food and artisanal products.
In the four years that he has been attending the market, Tom Little, market manager, said Saturday’s weather was the best the market had experienced on an opening day.
“We’re doing pretty good,” he said. “The crowds are bigger, for sure, than a year ago. I feel good. I feel like we’re bouncing back.”
The Durango Farmers Market is located in the parking lot of TBK Bank, 259 West Ninth St. It runs from 8 a.m. to noon (9 a.m. to noon in October) every Saturday through October.
