Durango Farmers Market to increase vendors, market rows

Durango Farmers Market will expand its presence in the TBK Bank parking lot on Eighth Street across from the Durango Transit Center.

The market will take up the entire parking lot at the bank to accommodate social-distancing guidelines and to add more vendors.

Fired Up Pizza, Thimbleberry Smoothie, James Ranch Artisan Cheese, Banga’s Farm and more will be joining the market in June, as well artisans carrying soap, healing salves, herbal tinctures and other local products.

The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays. Patrons should wear a face covering and use hand-washing stations or hand sanitizer at the entrance of every row. The community is asked to keep the venue a safe place by not gathering, lingering or socializing at the market for now.
