Durango Food Bank seeks volunteers

Durango Food Bank is in need of volunteers to help serve the community.

The food bank works in collaboration with the community to feed neighbors in need and is seeking volunteers to help with its daily operations, programs and services, involving sorting donations, stocking shelves, building orders and food distribution services.

During the holiday season, even more volunteers are needed to assist with managing the increase in generous community donations.

To donate time to Durango Food Bank either individually, as a family or in a group, flexible volunteer positions are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and a four-hour shift on Tuesdays for the Self-Select Pantry and Curbside Pick-Up food distribution day. Occasionally, weekend service opportunities for special events or activities are available.
