The Durango Food Bank and Express Employment Professionals have partnered to host a Thanks-For-Giving Food Drive from Oct. 21 through Nov. 15. Community members are asked to purchase items that will go directly to residents throughout all of La Plata County who are struggling with food insecurity this holiday season.
Recommended shopping lists will be posted on the Durango Food Bank’s Facebook page and can also be picked up at Express Employment Professionals. Tax deductible donations can be dropped off from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at Express Employment Professionals, 321 South Camino del Rio.
