A Durango Friends of the Arts class, “Cooking with Carol,” was relished late last August at the home of Carol Bruno, who shared her flare for Italian cooking with a dozen ladies who helped in the kitchen and at the dining table enjoying their culinary efforts which included: Italian mini meatball wedding soup, a savory sausage soup, lasagna and chicken fettuccine.
Lunch was accompanied by a nice selection of Italian wines and light, little lemon custard tarts for dessert for the finale of a magnifico meal; and they added a generous helping to DFA’s 2020 Grant Fund to support the arts in our communities.
