Durango Friends offer talk about Quaker education

The Durango Friends Meeting will present its third discussion in a six-session series about Quakerism at 11a.m. Sunday.

This series is open to people interested in deepening their understanding of Quakerism. The title of Sunday’s talk is “What Do Quakers Believe?” Remaining discussions in the series are “How Do Quakers Worship and Minister?,” “How Do Quakers ‘Let Their Lives Speak’?” and “How Do Quakers Govern?” These discussions will be held on the second Sunday of February, March and April, respectively.

Silent meeting for worship begins at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. All are welcome.

The Durango Friends Meetinghouse is at 803 County Road 233: from U.S. Highway 160 turn north at Three Springs Boulevard then make a quick right onto County Road 233. The meetinghouse is on the left in about 1 mile.
