The Durango High School girls tennis team lost to both Fruita Monument and Grand Junction over the weekend, 6-1.
Durango (1-2, 1-2 4A/5A Southwestern League) got its only win on Friday against Fruita from Emma Hackett and Ruby DeCora, who won their doubles match, 8-3.
On Saturday, Durango’s Maggie Hackett won her singles match 6-2, 6-3.
Durango will be at home for their next match, which will be at 4 p.m. Friday against Grand Junction Central. The Demons will then return to action at home the following day at 11 a.m. Saturday against Montrose.
