Seniors from Durango High School and Animas High School said farewell Friday at their respective graduations. DHS, the largest high school in La Plata County, graduated 222 students at the school’s stadium, while AHS, the free public charter school, bid adieu to 68 graduates at the Fort Lewis College Community Concert Hall. Many graduates will head to colleges and universities across the nation and world for the next chapter of their lives.
