A discussion about Durango High School athletics funding will take place from 6:15 to 6:30 p.m. today (Monday) in the school district’s board room at its administration building at 201 E. 12th St.
The discussion is part of the DHS Booster Club meeting, said Julie Popp, spokeswoman with Durango School District 9-R.
District officials previously said the discussion about athletics would take place at 6:30 p.m.
The district’s athletics department is facing a budget shortfall this year in part because not enough money was raised to cover the loan on the stadium at DHS.
