It was a perfect day for Ethan Craig and the Durango High School boys tennis team Friday in the home finale against Grand Junction Central. The Demons won the doubleheader 7-0, 7-0 to sweep the Warriors. “A good day,” DHS head coach Mike Moriarty said. “The boys were happy to have a home match and be able to compete in front of their parents, family and some students out, as well. The boys are really pleased to show the hometown fans what they had. It was fun.” Durango will travel to play Fruita Monument next weekend before the regional tournament.
