Makeup date to be announced
Durango High School’s non-conference wrestling dual that was set to take place Wednesday night at Pagosa Springs High School was postponed. The makeup date and time will be announced at a later time.
DHS head coach Leo Garand said he had three wrestlers who were coming back from illnesses.
“It would have been tough with only five guys competing tonight,” Garand said. “Two of our guys are coming back from the flu, while another has strep throat and won’t be ready for tomorrow. But the other two who couldn’t go tonight should be ready on Thursday.”
Durango will have its final meet before Christmas break against Kirtland Central and Farmington at 6 p.m. Thursday at Farmington High School.
