Durango Hot Springs welcomes new spa director

Durango Hot Springs Resort & Spa has announced Julia Gullotti as director of spa and wellness to head the newly redesigned spa and oversight of Durango Hot Springs wellness programs.

Julia joins Durango Hot Springs from Aveda Spa Lago in Lake Las Vegas, Nevada where she was spa and wellness director. Julia has over 17 years in the spa, health and fitness industry which includes over 10 years in director and managerial positions. Along with being a licensed massage therapist and certified esthetician, Julia is a doctor of naturopathy and holds a PhD in holistic nutrition along with other certifications and degrees in psychology and health counseling.

Durango Hot Springs Spa will announce its grand opening date soon based on completion of renovations in June. Renovations include all new interior design and amenities, including the addition of new Japanese style Ofuro personal soaking tubs.

Julia and her husband Michael Gullotti are moving to Durango from Las Vegas, and she began her role at the spa on May 18.
