I believe that Dave Peterson has the experience, knowledge, and common sense to be the next Durango police chief.
He has been employed by the city of Durango longer than any other employee. His roots are here, his family is here, he won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. He knows this town like the back of his hand.
The longtime local residents know, respect, and appreciate Dave. I think he’s the best man for the job.
