Durango Independent Film Festival is now presenting monthly movies at the Durango Arts Center, the third Thursday of each month.
The event began last month with the 2024 Festival film “For When You Get Lost.” This month’s film will be the cult classic “The Big Lebowski” – screening at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30) April 18 at the DAC, 802 East Second Ave.
Twenty-five years ago, Joel and Ethan Coen released this quirky comedy about a slacker living in Los Angeles with a love for bowling and a taste for White Russians.
The film stars Jeff Bridges as, of course, The Dude; John Goodman, John Turturro, Steve Buscemi, Peter Stormare, Juliane Moore and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
DIFF Monthly Movies are sponsored by Alpine Bank and The Durango Herald.
Tickets are $10 and are available at https://tinyurl.com/3kms4dxh.
