Regardless of Durango governance’s pretense of not trying to circumvent U.S. immigration law and its intent, the federal government recognizes Durango as a “sanctuary city.” The general idea to remember is that if you’re opposed to democratically-enacted U.S. law, you are against the laws of the United States and therefore you fall into the category of “anti-American.”
If you promote Marxist and neo-Marxist organizations, you’re entitled to your beliefs, but you need to man-up and just proclaim your Marxism, socialism, etc., and anti-Americanism.
Patriotism is not “I love my country, but I’m trying to make it more socialist so it will be better.” Colorado was once admired for its traditional values: How low we’ve sunk. Here is the current listing of sanctuary states and cities: dhs.gov/sanctuary-jurisdictions. Speak up and be heard.
