The Durango KOA campground, owned by Jay and Carol Coates, was recently awarded the 2018 KOA President’s and KOA Founder’s awards by Kampgrounds of America.
The president’s award recognizes exceptional customer service and the founder’s award, named after KOA founder Dave Drum, recognizes campground owners and managers who are top scorers in customer service and the KOA quality review.
Awards were presented Nov. 17 at the KOA annual international convention in Phoenix.
