The Durango-La Plata County Airport terminal recently turned 30 years old, and its “diamond” anniversary celebration will be held Monday through Friday.
The celebration will feature a chance to win a round-trip flight for two and tickets to a Major League Baseball game in Denver, Dallas/Fort Worth, Phoenix or Los Angeles. The flight, game tickets and lodging in the destination city are included in the giveaway. To register for a chance to win, visit the airport during regular hours from Monday to Friday.
Durango School District 9-R students will also participate in a creative art contest, which was sponsored by the airport.
The airport is located 15 miles southeast of Durango at 1000 Airport Road.
