I am very disappointed that we will no longer receive a hard copy of the Sunday Denver Post. First, the daily was eliminated, and now the Sunday edition. There was clearly demand, as our carrier said the grocery stores came close to selling out each Sunday.
We have enough trouble being part of Colorado as it is, and this doesn’t help. Consider that the Herald has two pages of New Mexico news on Sunday, and Spectrum forces Albuquerque stations on us rather than all Denver stations.
Durango needs to ask itself: Do we want to be Colorado or New Mexico?
