Durango Montessori School, a nonprofit elementary school, will host an electronics recycling event from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Smiley Building, 1309 East Third Ave.
Community members may bring their old electronics to be recycled for a donation of $15. Drop off will be on the Third Avenue side of the building. No light bulbs will be accepted. For large electronics, such as old TVs and CRT monitors, a larger donation of $30 to $50 is required.
All proceeds benefit Durango Montessori School.
