Durango Nature Studies to hold full-moon hike

Sam Green/The Journal<br><br>The moon returns to normal about just over two hours after the eclipse started.

Durango Nature Studies will hold a full-moon hike, themed “nocturnal animals,” from 7 to 9 p.m. on May 9 at Falls Creek.

The hike will be led by program facilitator, Grace Gordon, and participants will learn about nocturnal animals active in the area during spring.

Cost is $10 for nonmembers, and free for members and children under 12 years old.
