Durango Nature Studies to host wolf moon hike Thursday

Durango Nature Studies will host a full moon hike for the wolf moon from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Chris Park at Haviland Lake.

Instructor Andrea Owens will lead the hike in spirit of the wolf and explore its historical significance and potential future in local habitats. Cost is $10 for nonmembers and free for members and children younger than 12. Participants can rent snowshoes for $5 or bring their own.
