I’m a daily bus rider, and here are my thoughts: We need more routes and in more places.
COVID-19 didn’t impact other areas with public transportation cutting. But Durango has randomly and thoughtlessly cut routes along 32nd, frequent trips to the hospital and limited other buses. Then, the trench in front of the transit center leaves many confused: better signage would help.
And your drivers have been amazing. Increase their wages and listen to them. This town offers so little for public servants. It’s time to step up and fix it.
