Durango Neighborhood Coalition will meet at 5:30 p.m. May 27 at First Presbyterian Church, 1159 East Third Ave., in the Fellowship Hall or the 12th Street entrance meeting room.
DNC is an evolving grassroots organization encouraging neighborhoods to form their own neighborhood associations for connection while empowering the coalition’s voice to bridge the communication between residents and city officials.
Speakers will include Chris Paulson and Bruce Spining, who will talk about their currently forming neighborhood association. Jack Rogers, former city of Durango Public Works director, will share his expertise about Durango’s water resources and the ongoing drought.
DNC welcomes all neighborhoods to join its umbrella coalition. All residents are invited.
