Durango Police Department to hold meeting about body cameras

The Durango Police Department will hold a town hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Peaks Room at Durango Community Recreation Center, 2700 Main Ave.

Police Chief Kamran Afzal and Cmdr. Ray Shupe will discuss patrol officers’ use of body-worn cameras with community members. The event is free and open to all. The public is encouraged to ask questions, voice concerns and share expectations about the topic.
