Is the Durango post office the worst post office in the country or a close runner-up?
I went in person to change our address the last week in September and to hold our mail since we weren’t going to be in our Arizona home for several weeks.
My request apparently was not processed as I later found out all our mail was still sent to our address at our RV park in Durango where we spent the summer. The park host tried to forward to us but could not because they had no change of address. Since they don't answer their phone, I could not get in touch to explain my dilemma.
The only way we could get our mail was by the park host packing our mail and sending by UPS. Finally, I went to local post office in Arizona to complete another change of address. After two months, we finally are getting our mail. Seems like the post office in general, and especially the Durango post office, could use a radical change to run more efficiently.
