The Durango Public Library will host best-selling author Lisa See the evening of April 16 at the 2020 Literary Festival.
See is award-winning author of “The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane,” “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan,” “Peony in Love,” “Shanghai Girls,” “China Dolls” and “Dreams of Joy.” Her latest novel, “The Island of Sea Women,” is about the free-diving women of South Korea’s Jeju Island.
This will be the library’s 11th annual Literary Festival. The event will feature a reception and a presentation by See followed by a book-signing. Maria’s Bookshop will have books available for sale at the event, which is free and open to the public. More details will be released as the event approaches.
