Adolescents and teens are invited to raid craft supplies to make “formal” accessories for this year’s Snowdown celebration from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Durango Public Library, 1900 East Third Ave.
Ideas include duct-tape bow ties, tissue paper corsages and fancy beaded hairpins.
The event is free and open to all ages.
Also, a black-tie preschool dance party will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturday.
