Durango Public Library building will open with limited hours Tuesday. Hours will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Curbside Pick-Up will continue with new hours from 2 to 5 p.m.
Facilities staff will thoroughly clean and disinfect the building and equipment per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after closing to prepare for the following day.
The library will operate as a self-service model. Staff will be available when social distance can be maintained.
These rules and restrictions will be in place:
Masks are required. Patrons without a mask will be provided one. Individuals who cannot wear masks may use curbside service.Visits should be kept as brief as possible. Capacity limits will be enforced. The library cannot accommodate groups. Only individuals or families/households can enter.Social distancing is required. Follow the arrows on the floors for browsing.Computer use is limited to one session per day, and are available on a first-come first-served basis. Patrons should not disinfect library equipment with their own materials.Only one person may access the self-service hold shelf area at a time.
