Alex Bethel of Durango has been awarded a Program for Continuing Education grant from PEO International.
Bethel is pursuing a master of science degree in organization development from American University in Washington, D.C.
The PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) grant was established to provide need-based financial assistance to women in the U.S. and Canada whose education has been interrupted and find it necessary to return to school to complete a degree or certification that improves their marketable skills for employment to support themselves and/or their families.
