Durango School District has used its snow days

Early release days may be suspended if another snow day is called
Durango School District 9-R has used all of its snow days for the year and, if another snow day is called, will hold full school day sessions during its remaining early release days

Durango School District 9-R has used the four snow days it had built into its calendar.

If another snow day is required, it will suspend its remaining early release days through the end of the school year.

At their meeting Tuesday, Durango school board members authorized Superintendent Dan Snowberger to suspend remaining early release days if needed.

The district holds early release days each Monday through the end of the school year on May 31.

There are a few Mondays remaining in the school year in which there is no school:

Students are on spring break from Monday, March 25, to Friday, March 29.Students are off for the full day Monday, April 1, for a professional development day for teachers and staff.Students are off Monday, May 27, for Memorial Day.
