STEVE LEWIS/Durango Herald - DURANGO - 09/09/14 - "We are one of the bigger employers in the area, so it's typical to have openings, but to this degree, it seems a little bit bigger than usual," said Durango School District 9-R spokeswoman Julie Popp. Popp said the district is currently trying to fill 25 to 30 positions.
Durango School District 9-R offers community members the opportunity to reach students, families and staff by sponsoring advertisements on district and school websites, newsletters, meal calendars and more. The program raises funds that go to supporting students and classrooms.
