Durango Area Tourism Office recently named Marsha Wilson as sales manager to oversee sales strategy and destination selling activities for the Durango area, effective immediately.
Wilson has more than 25 years of sales and operational experience in luxury hospitality and tourism industries. She most recently served as senior national sales manager for Visit Albuquerque and spent seven years as account executive for the Convention and Visitors Bureau’s VisitLEX in Lexington, Kentucky.
In her new position, Wilson will help promote Durango through domestic and international travel trade and tour group industries, and create ways to attract new businesses and increase overnight visits in the area.
