“It went really well,” Bayfield head coach Josh Walton said about the invitational “We thought it went really smoothly. Sometimes you have to work out kinks the first meet of the season. Just figuring out some stuff and making sure that everything's working from the cameras to your wind gauges … you don't want to have anything happen to where a kid doesn't get a time or something like that.”
On the boys side, Durango finished first with 224.50 points while Montezuma-Cortez was second with 102 points and Alamosa was third with 97.50 points. Bayfield was seventh with 33.50 points.
