Durango Trails remained committed to keeping the trails open during the COVID-19 while fulfilling its other trail obligations.
Durango Trails completed construction on the SkyRaider Trail, connecting SkyRidge to the Ridge into Horse Gulch. The group also reworked the new Ben’s Down and Out, added signage to the trails on the ridge, completed the initial construction on the Cutthroat Trail connecting Purgatory to Sig Creek and removed hundreds of downed trees.
Durango Trails also improved all of the drainage features on Ned’s Trail in Overend Mountain Park, and cut back brush and improved read and drainage on the entire local system, including Twin Buttes, Horse Gulch, Overend, Dalla and Three Springs.
