It was another strong weekend for the Durango Youth American Football League teams: a 4-for-6 effort Saturday in Week 3.
The second-grade Demons won their first game of the season 19-0 against Bloomfield after being idle for the last two weeks.
Linkin Griego rushed for two touchdowns and Cayden Hartman added another. Derek Lancaster had three tackles and recovered a fumble for the defense.
The Demons will play the Farmington Sting on Saturday in Bloomfield.
The Farmington Bully team lived up to its nickname, defeating the third-grade Demons 32-0.
The Demons will host Bloomfield at 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Middle School.
The fourth-grade Demons got back on the winning track with a 7-0 victory against the Aztec Longhorns.
Jordan Stanley scored the game’s only touchdown and ran the extra point in himself.

The fifth-grade Demons are on a three-game winning streak after beating the Farmington Panthers 41-0.
Durango forced a safety early in the first quarter off of a botched punt. Gage Mestas rushed for three touchdowns and caught a pass to convert an extra point. Weston Baken also ran for a touchdown, and Ty Martinez returned a punt for a touchdown. Alex Pavon and Kyler Reimers both had four tackles on defense, and Kilian Gwinn recovered a fumble.
The Demons will host Ignacio at 1 p.m. Saturday at Miller Middle School.
The sixth-grade Demons Red held off Kirtland for their second consecutive victory, a 13-12 win.
Carver Willis threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Dylan Bakkebo and scored a 55-yard rushing touchdown and the extra point to give Durango the victory. Carson Matz collected nine tackles in the game, while Ean Karr had five.
The Demons Red will host the Farmington Demolition at 3 p.m. Saturday at Miller Middle School.
The sixth-grade Demons White lost 34-14 at Bayfield.
They next will play Montezuma at 9 a.m. Saturday in Cortez.
