Durangoan Lisa Bloomquist was appointed to a three-year term to the Affordable Housing Advisory Council. Bloomquist is one of 12 AHAC members who advise FHLBank Topeka on the administration of its housing and community development organizations throughout Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Bloomquist is the executive director of HomesFund, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that is a certified Community Development Financial Institution and a HUD-approved housing counseling agency. The mission of HomesFund is to build diverse and resilient communities by developing affordable housing and empowering residents with the financial resources and educational tools to achieve homeownership.
