Nature photographer to give presentations
Conservation Colorado, San Juan Citizens Alliance and Great Old Broads for Wilderness announce a multimedia presentation and exhibit with Colorado nature photographer John Fielder to honor the Wilderness Act.
Called “A Celebration of 50 Years of Colorado Wilderness,” the exhibit will feature a multimedia presentation with more than 200 of Fielder’s favorite wilderness images.
A presentation and book signing by Fielder will take place at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the First National Bank Auditorium, 2258 E. Main St., Cortez, and at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Powerhouse Science Center, 1333 Camino del Rio.
An opening reception will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Powerhouse Science Center.
The exhibit, on display from Tuesday to Oct. 31 at the science center, will feature 20 fine-art photographs by Fielder.
