Great Old Broads announces addition
Great Old Broads for Wilderness, a nonprofit advocacy group, has hired M’Lissa Roulson as its communications director.
With more than 20 regional chapters – or Broadbands – Roulson will be responsible for the development and success of all communications, marketing and public relations for the organization.
Roulson joins the Great Old Broads with more than 15 years of experience in public relations, marketing and event planning in the outdoor and winter sport industries. Previously, she was executive director and founder of the nonprofit Green Media Works in Telluride.
Roulson also has served on several boards such as Sheep Mountain Alliance, Western Colorado Congress and Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado. She was a driving force behind the successful fight to protect the 860-acre Valley Floor in Telluride.
Roulson is a graduate student at Prescott College in the environmental studies program.
